This comes after rumors circulated that Afrobeats artist Davido's wife, Chioma Adeleke, fired Ubi Franklin.

In a recent video that was posted online, Ubi Franklin disclosed that he currently was owed 782 million naira and an anticipated 30 million naira in debt, characterizing this as a typical business incident.
He said, “I am not going to say I don’t owe anybody.The total number of money I’m owing is not more than 30 million naira, while people are owing me almost 782 million."
Ubi Franklin responded to criticism on social media by saying he doesn't need legitimacy and calling the criticism "redundant."
