Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, best known by his stage name Davido, has stirred controversy online after he released a new social media app called Chatter.
The musician announced the release of this app on social media.
Davido gave a brief history of the app's development and functions, working with a friend.
The award-winning singer claimed that the app is owned by both him and Sir Banko, a longtime buddy.
The singer claims that Chatter is a social audiovisual utility platform that connects users with a lively community and helps content creators magnify their views.
Nevertheless, the app's user base extends beyond content producers; it also caters to those who want to network and those who are business-minded.
In the previous eight months, Davido has completed three internet projects. Recall that he founded his own coinage with the name $DAVIDO coin. However, the $DAVIDO coin crashed a few days after it launched, leading some cryptocurrency enthusiasts to call it a scam and a rug-pull.
