Drama once again ensued on the streets of twitter after the famous 24-hour music channel, MTV Base released their #MTVBaseHottestNaijaArtistes19.
The list ranked 20 top Nigeria Artistes on a scale of one to 20.
The highly publicized list ranked Burna Boy as the number one MTV Base artiste of the year with Davido coming second and Zlatan in third position.
The list also had Skiibi, Rudeboy and Timaya come in 18, 19 and 20th positions respectively.

The rankings drew widespread reactions from Twitter as several Nigerian disagreed and debated the veracity of the ranking. Many were worried that Wizkid ranked at number 5 below Zlatan. A few others were worried about their different artistes scattered over the list and wondered whether the judgement was fair.
