The revelation that Pastor Tobi Adegboyega is not biologically related to Nigerian international film actor John Boyega startled Nigerians.

After the story was reported by mainstream media sites, Tolu Oniru, better known by his stage name Toolz, revealed this new development.

Toolz claims that John Boyega never claimed the man and that the scandal has damaged his reputation because many international media outlets categorized them as families.

Recall that on Wednesday, December 4, it was reported that Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, the overseer of the Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church, would probably be deported. His ministry was earlier shut down due to a suspected fraud of £1.87 million.

On social media, this information spread quickly. Tobi has since stepped forward to refute the rumours, stating Nigerians should be proud of him for serving in a nation like the UK, which is notorious for bullying, among other things.
