Renowned gospel actor Abel Martins has announced his exit from Christian movie productions, citing painful experiences with colleagues as the reason for his decision.
In an interview on "The Journey" with Dele Adeyanju, Martins shared that he’s leaving the industry due to envy and betrayal from within.
He noted that his collaborations with Christian filmmaker Mike Bamiloye sparked jealousy, leading to attempts to tarnish his reputation.
“I know we have come to fight a war in this world. Envy is part of it. That is why I make up my mind that I won’t take part in any Christian production again.” He said
Despite these challenges, Martins expressed deep gratitude for Mike Bamiloye’s unwavering support and integrity. Nevertheless, he concluded that the environment has grown too toxic and, as a result, he can no longer be a part of it.
