Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke also known as Davido, has sparked mixed reactions among social media users as he exercises his political franchise in the United States of America.

The Grammy Award nominee took to his X account to share a photo of himself right after casting his vote in the US elections that took place on Tuesday, November 4, 2024.

Sharing the photo with excitement, Davido noted that it was his first time voting in the US.

He simply wrote, "First time voter!!."

This stirred mixed reactions among netizens, with some criticizing Davido for not being outspoken in Nigeria's elections and also not sharing proof of his voting. Others took advantage of the situation to mock Wizkid for not having the privilege to vote in the US elections.
