Nigerian actress, Jemima Osunde, has revealed that she will still remain financially strong if her revenue from acting and the Lagos University Teach Hospital - LUTH are taken away.
Jemima made the statement during a question and answer session with Amanda Dara Afolabi on Instagram.
She stated that she would not need a man's money in order to live a life that is best for her.
Her statement reads:
"I can't speak for everybody in the industry. I don't know how everybody is making their money, I can't say how anybody is living the life they are living but I know that for my own self o, remove the money I make from acting, remove the money that LUTH is paying me, I still won’t be broke.
"My father is a retired judge, my mother is about to retire from the ministry of education in Lagos State.
"I have three older brothers, the first one is a lawyer, the second is an engineer and the third is in broadcasting, I have siblings, I can't think of any way my life would have turned out different from it is now.
"The reason why I do the things that I do is because I want to do them. Acting is not even what pays me, if we're being honest, how many acting gigs do I get in a year.
"I don't need a man giving me money to live the life that I want to live."
