Stop supporting bad governance - Vector urges Nigerian celebrities

Nigerian rapper, Vector Nigerian rapper, Vector

Popular Nigerian rapper Vector Tha Viper has called on Nigerian celebrities to cease their support for bad governance.

Note that an increasing number of Nigerian celebrities have either joined partisan politics or openly endorsed politicians in recent years.

Vector criticized those celebrities who side with political figures at the expense of their own fans' realities, warning that the ongoing hardship could eventually impact them if the situation doesn’t improve.

On his X handle, Vector wrote: “To the celebrities taking sides against the reality of their own people/fans, it may be best to repent before you become the only reachable option if the hardship doesn’t stop. Stop supporting bad governance.”

Vector’s comments come amid nationwide protests against the severe economic and social challenges facing the country.
