Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, is currently trending on social media after she hopped on to singer Naira Marley's new song.
The "Sabi Girl," as she is fondly called, received many unpleasant remarks from social media users after a video of her dancing to Marlian Record label boss Naira Marley's new song "Pxy Drip" surfaced. In the video, the vocalist, who sported a low haircut, gracefully moved her waist as she sang along to the song.
The video sparked strong reactions from social media users who expressed their disgust and disappointment towards Ayra Starr. Many referenced the circumstances surrounding the death of the late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, widely known as Mohbad.
Recall that following Mohbad's death, many people criticized Naira Marley and accused him of playing a role in the tragic event. This criticism stemmed from Mohbad's allegations of bullying and abuse against Naira Marley while he was signed to the record label.
As a result, many netizens believed it was inappropriate for Ayra Starr to support Naira Marley by dancing to his song. Despite Ayra Starr deleting the video from her page, netizens still have access to it and continue to criticize her.
