Popular comedian and politician Oluwaseyitan Aletile, well known as Seyi Law, has asserted that some Nigerian governors could go the length of organizing the execution of the President if state police were created.

Recall that there has been a call from Nigerians for the creation of state police across the country.

In response to reports that the 33 Local Government Chairmen in Oyo State have collectively decided to withdraw from the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Seyi Law suggested that Nigerian governors tend to misuse their power and would similarly abuse state police if it were established.

The controversial comedy on his X handle on Sunday, wrote: “Imagine State Police in the hands of some Governors. They will personally organise the execution of the President.”
