English singer-songwriter, Fleur East has revealed what it was like meeting with Prince Charles just before he tested positive to COVID-19.

MyNigeria.com reported yesterday that Prince Charles who is the heir to the throne in England tested positive to COVID-19.

A Clarence House spokesman said he was "displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual".

Fleur who appeared on The One Show revealed that Prince Charle whom she met at the Prince's Trust Awards kept forgetting that he was not to be shaking hands due to coronavirus pandemic.

Fleur told show hosts Alex Jones and Patrick Kielty: 'It was 14 days ago, so I’m safe. 14 days is the clear window.'

'He just kept forgetting to not shake people’s hands. He kept reaching out.'

She added: 'I didn't know how to greet a royal full stop; let alone in these times!'.
