Activist, Martin Vincent Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan has appealed to David Adeleke, also known as Davido, to give his colleague Dammy Krane a second chance.
This plea comes after Dammy Krane was arrested for consistently defaming Davido on social media. Dammy Krane used his platform to accuse Davido of being responsible for the death of his associate, Tagbo Umeike, who passed away on October 3, 2017.
Oyindamola Emmanuel, better known as Dammy Krane, was taken to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), where he was informed of a petition from Abuja with Davido’s name on it, accusing him of cyberstalking.
The police collected his personal belongings, detained him at SCID, and later flew him to Abuja for questioning at the NPF-NCCC office.
Krane then took to social media to claim that Davido paid authorities to falsely accuse him of involvement in a Flutterwave and cryptocurrency scam.
He wrote on his X page (formerly Twitter), "If anything happens to me @davido should be held responsible, oppressor @davido has paid them to arrest me. They wrote a petition lying that I am into Flutterwave & crypto scams just to arrest me. This is how they keep using bad cops to spoil the name of the police."
VeryDarkMan, however, urged Davido to forgive Dammy Krane and offer him a second chance. Despite being aware of Krane’s allegations against Davido and his family, VeryDarkMan pleaded with the singer to show mercy.
He shared a video on his social media page where he begged Davido, captioning it, "@Davido, you are my brother, you are my guy. We all know how you have been pushed to the wall, how your family has been dragged, and how he has defamed your brand without proof, to the point of pinning the kpai of your friend on you. All these allegations without proof. Brother, I know you are not an oprezzr. Please, brother, give him a second chance. Please, I will call you now.”
