TikToker SeaKing has called out the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) over a video circulating on the internet, showing the Afenifere youth president appealing to Nigerians for assistance while being held at gunpoint in a kidnappers' den.
Prince Eniola Ojajuni, the National President of the Afenifere National Youth Council, was kidnapped on February 17, 2025, in Abuja.
In the video, Ojajuni is seen pleading with Nigerians to help him raise the N100 million ransom demanded by the kidnappers. He appears visibly shaken as a suspected kidnapper holds a gun to his face while he begs for the money to secure his release.
He said, "Nigerians, please help me! Your donation of N100,000, N50,000, or N1,000,000 can go a long way in saving my life. My name is Prince Eniola Ojajuni. God bless you. Aderohunmu, please help me spread this video."
In response to the video, SeaKing questions the police’s efforts in rescuing Ojajuni.
According to the TikToker, the police should focus their energy and resources on tracking down bandits and criminals instead of engaging in cyberbullying and cyberstalking critics of the police force.
He said, “This is one of the Yoruba youth leaders kidnapped and pleading for his life, begging Nigerians to help him. Please, Nigerian police, these are the people you should be tracking down.
All this cyberbullying and cyberstalking you are involved in, tracking people who speak the truth—sharp sharp, you have tracked people abusing IG, you will say cyberbullying…these are the people you are supposed to be tracking.
These kidnappers are bullying the cyberspace. Imagine kidnappers posting online and you cannot track them.
These are the people you should be tracking. They are the ones doing cyberbullying. Track them down. Use the tools you have for tracking someone who abused another person's girlfriend, and use them to track kidnappers.”
