Rema has been acknowledged as the most-streamed Nigerian artist on YouTube for the first quarter of 2025, according to a report released by The Debut Hub, a music ranking platform in Nigeria.
The "Raver" hitmaker led the charts with an impressive 223 million streams, largely boosted by the success of his single *Is It Crime*, which alone amassed 14 million streams.
The competition was fierce, with Burna Boy, a Grammy award-winning artist, securing the second spot with 171 million streams. Burna Boy is also preparing for the launch of his much-anticipated eighth studio album, *No Sign of Weakness*.
Ayra Starr, who rose to fame with her popular song *Sabi Girl*, claimed the third position with 169 million streams. Meanwhile, industry heavyweights Davido and Wizkid completed the top five, achieving 113 million and 102 million streams respectively.
As the year unfolds, Afrobeats remains at the forefront of global music trends, with Nigerian artists continuing to dominate the streaming landscape. The report also highlighted the top 20 most-streamed Nigerian artists globally on YouTube Music for Q1 2025 (January–March), showcasing the genre's consistent growth.
