Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola often known as Portable, has finally debunked rumors of a possible conflict between himself and British Nigerian artist Skepta.

The contentious singer had previously complained that his old mentor, Olamide, had given preference to Asake over him.

Following this, the British Nigerian singer took to his X page to note that he realized Portable was dragging someone on social media and believes he is next to be dragged by the singer.

However, Portable explained in a live Instagram session that he and Skepta have a very different relationship.

He praised Skepta for being a loyal supporter noting that he has had a significant impact on his life and profession.

Portable noted that Skepta has provided financial support, helped him interact with important people, and opened doors for him.

He emphasized that he would never violate Skepta's confidence and warned detractors not to misunderstand his remarks and jeopardize their relationship. He went on to say that his complaints against Olamide were from dissatisfaction and a sense of undervaluation rather than from any desire to betray him.

He said: “I say make Olamide sign me back then, why Olamide no sign me? Why he no believe in me? My helper? Na wetin pain me be dat. I only believe in him. He helped a lot of people, if he told me to sign a contract, I would have signed it, that’s what I’m saying.”
