A throwback video of veteran Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs has melted the hearts of social media after it surfaced on social media.

In the video, the father of two answered questions on his acting career and the film industry.

Olu Jacobs who turned 82 this year, claimed that becoming an actor had fulfilled him. According to him, there is nothing more to his life than acting.

Additionally, Olu Jacobs declared that he would keep on performing until he ran out of strength.

He clarified that, although in the past, everything was judged in relation to what the Europeans had achieved, many people now recognize and celebrate the milestone that the Nigerian film industry has attained.

Olu Jacobs added that Nollywood had changed the perception that it was a genre that never succeeded.

He said that only those with intelligence could perform since actors had predetermined roles to interpret and bring to life.

The actor went on to remark that nowadays, only intelligent people are allowed to perform on stage.
