Nigerian on-air-personality, Toolz Oniru-Demuren, recently shared with fans the interesting but strange thing she discovered some people do on social media to keep up appearances.

It is common advice that people should not believe all that they see on social media because many things are not what they seem like.

A number of people have been busted for living fake lives on social media and even going great lengths to deceive unsuspecting spectators.

Just recently, Toolz took to her Twitter page to share a post where someone had seemingly bought paper bags and boxes of a designer brand just to pose with online.

In her caption she wrote:

“People are now buying empty designer boxes to flex on the gram.”See the post below:
