President Muhammadu Buhari's son Yusuf took Zahra, daughter of the Emir of Bichi, Nasiru Ado Bayero, as wife at a ceremony in Bichi, Kano State, on Friday, August 20, 2021.

The ceremony had the presence of several distinguished dignitaries including President Buhari and his wife, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo among others.

The three day marriage celebration was crowned on Sunday with a luncheon organised for Yusuf and Zahra Buhari.

The wedding Fatiha was conducted at the Emir’s Palace with the Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, presiding, after payment of N500,000, as dowry.

These three day event received some reactions from Nigerians who criticised the lavished wedding with different claims.
