Nigerians have disowned singer, Dice Ailes after he denied his Nigerian roots.
The "Ella" crooner lent his voice to the killing of George Floyd and solicited for fans to sign petitions to hold his murderers accountable.
A fan, @rfklevar challenged him for not lending his voice to the rape issues that occurred in Nigeria over the past 72 hours.
Dice then fired back, saying he was not Nigerian.
This led to a row on Twitter as Nigerians vowed to disown the Afro-pop singer.
It's time we denied #DiceAiles and his music. From now on, he is an American singer pic.twitter.com/16MGdTDPpA

Wikipedia actually classifies Dice as a Canadian.
Although the overview says the singer is Nigerian, his citizenship is actually Canadian.
