Embattled media personality Nedu Wazobia has released his first skit following the crisis that has rocked him and the popular show 'The Honest Bunch Podcast.'
Nedu, an actor and content creator, shared the skit on his Instagram page just hours after holding a press conference to clear his name of several allegations leveled against him by industry colleagues.
The more-than-two-minute-long skit, featuring his colleague Husband Material, has garnered over 1,000 responses in less than 30 minutes since it was posted.
It remains unclear whether he will focus on skit-making after his exit from the podcast.
Recall that Nedu Wazobia previously debunked reports claiming he was fired as a host of the popular podcast.
Speaking at a recent press conference, Nedu addressed the speculation and clarified that stepping away from the show was his personal decision, not a forced removal.
"Every opinion shared on this platform is the opinion of the guest, not of the show itself, so everyone has the right to an opinion and the right to report," he said.
He continued, "Let me set the record straight—I was not fired from The Honest Bunch. I was never fired. I chose to step away when the attacks became very personal so that the show could go on. I was not fired."
This comes amid reports following VeryDarkMan’s claims that Nedu requested sex from women in exchange for movie roles. He also alleged that he would release the names of all the celebrities Nedu had supposedly slept with for roles. VeryDarkMan’s accusations opened a Pandora’s box of further allegations and speculations regarding Nedu; however, Nedu chose not to respond.
Addressing the matter, Nedu stated, "A lot has been going on left, right, and center, but I will say this—I am not one to indulge in petty exchanges of words. That's not who I am. It has never been my style, and it never will be, to trade words with people on social media."
