Nathaniel Bassey's Hallelujah Challenge sparks reactions as it records massive turnout on 1st day

Gospel musician and preacher Nathaniel Bassey launched his online praise and prayer program, Hallelujah Challenge on Monday, February 10, and a huge number of people joined.

The Ebenezer hitmaker's social media platforms were flooded with believers who came to thank and honor God.

Numerous expectations were also expressed by the participants in the singer's social media pages' comments section. The Hallelujah Challenge generated a lot of excitement online with over 479,000 YouTube participants and over 300,000 Facebook and Instagram participants.

Since its launch in 2017, the Hallelujah Challenge has seen an annual growth in participation. Apostle Joshua Selman, Pastor Jerry Eze, Apostle Victoria Orenze, Joe Praise, Eben, and Lilian Nneji are some of the preachers and gospel artists that have graced the event.

Nathaniel Bassey has been criticized for the program, but it hasn't stopped him. More participants are anticipated in the days ahead as this edition comes to a finish on March 1, 2025. Bassey is a minister at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in addition to being a gospel performer.
