Singer Azeez Adeshina Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has expressed his excitement after a magistrate court acquitted him, Sam Larry, and Prime Boy of being involved in Mohbad’s death.
On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, Naira Marley, the owner of the Marlian Records label and the two others were cleared of complicity after widespread condemnation and allegations of bullying the late singer.
The pronouncement comes 18 months after the former Marlian signee, Mohbad died in a
mysterious manner.
The death of Mohbad caused a stir across the country after videos of Mohbad and his associates went viral.
In the judgement, the Magistrate Court sitting in Yaba, Lagos State, exonerated Naira Marley, Sam Larry and Prime Boy over the death of Mohbad.
Reacting to his judgement, Naira Marley took to his X page to express his gratitude to Allah for vindicating him.
Sharing a verse from the Holy Quran, he wrote: “And whoever puts all his trust in Allah, he will be enough for him. (65:3).”
