Legendary Nollywood actor, Patrick Doyle, has said Ezekiel ThankGod a.k.a Eezeetee will be vindicated in court following the actions against him by his former record label artist, Mercy Chinwo.

MyNigeria reported that Mercy Chinwo and Eezeetee are in court concerning disagreements over finance and record contracts.

Mercy Chinwo had accused Eezeetee of making her sign a contract in 2017 but replacing it with another one in 2019 without giving her a copy.

The gospel music singer also accused her former boss of financial misappropriation, especially concerning music streaming platform earnings.

She then shared a video in which she alleged that he was behind the claim made by bloggers that singer Nathaniel Bassey is the father of the son she welcomed with her husband.

Reacting, Patrick Doyle described Mercy Chinwo as manipulative and lacking Christian ethics.

He shared on Facebook, "The shenanigans of Mercy Chinwo in the instant matter with her erstwhile record label boss is a big blot on Christian ethics. Her actions in the affair portray her as a vile and manipulative person bent on doing whatever to achieve her less than noble intent.

"To top it all, she and her handlers have embarked on a PR blitz aimed at bolstering her besmudged image and destroying the reputation of her former record label boss. She and her cohorts need to know that when a matter like this becomes an issue of litigation no amount of PR will count in the court of law.

"I urge the record label boss to stay the litigation cause because his eventual vindication is sure."
