Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has shared the travails she went through after she appeared on the Honest Bunch Podcast.

Legit.ng previously reported that Yvonne Jegede appeared on the Honest Bunch podcast, and she spoke about her crashed marriage. Her utterances on the show were hugely criticised and many rained curses on her.

In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she shared what she went through at the hands of the podcaster, Nedu, and what the interview did to her brand.

According to the ebony-skinned actress, Nedu sent her messages asking her out. She claimed that as Nedu was in her WhatsApp asking her out, he was at the same posting materials that further fuelled the negative attacks on her.

The film star said her son was also attacked as many rained curses on him online, which, she said, made her deactivate his Instagram page.

Yvonne Jegede also asserted that based on the press release from the podcast, many believed that she paid for the interview.

Correcting that notion, Jegede pointed out that she didn't pay for the interview because the movie she promoted during her interview was not produced by her.

The actress also noted that her words were twisted, which made her dislike people who distort the truth.

In her post, Jegede also remarked that she had previously been bitter, livid, and angry but noted that, with the help and support of those close to her, she claimed to have moved on.

Yvonne Jegede added that she had forgiven Nedu and wished him well in his endeavours.

Recall that Yvonne Jegede was forced to apologise to May Edochie after supporting Yul Edochie during her interview.

The beautiful mother of one aside from sharing her story from the podcast also advises Nedu and others. The actress says she wishes Nedu learn from the experience he is currently going through.

She advised him that he gains nothing in bringing others down all because of clicks and likes on social media.

She wrote: "I hope he learns from this experience and realizes that we gain nothing; not even YouTube views by bringing others down."

The actress though angry with Nedu for his role while she went for the podcast, asked to be left out of the ongoing drama that led to the podcaster's resignation from the Honest Bunch Podcast.

She noted that she has learnt lessons from Nedu's situation and in dealing with people. "Please, I kindly request that my name not be dragged into this drama. I have learned valuable lessons from my experience, especially regarding dealing with people." See the post here:
