Mabel Makun, the estranged spouse of popular comedian and actor AY Makun, recently said goodbye to her mother, Mrs. Rose Temietan Eyesan Nwanegbu, at an emotional funeral service that brought attendees to tears.

The event was held at The Garden in Ikoyi, Lagos, where family and friends honored the late Mrs Nwanegbu, giving Mabel the support she needs during this trying moment. Mabel, dressed in a black outfit in execution of her sorrow, was offered support and solidarity from her family and friends.

A video circulating on social media captured touching scenes from the ceremony, including a visibly sorrowful Mabel and the deeply emotional environment in which family members paid their respects.

While many took to paying tribute, observant social media users pointed out the perceived absence of AY Makun at the event, further heightening speculation into his role and continuing speculation around the estranged couple’s relationship.
