A magistrate court in Ogba, Lagos State, has postponed the hearing in the child custody case involving Queen Oyekanmi and Promise Anagbogu, also known as Lord Lamba, until July 18.

This decision was made after the content creator failed to show up for his Thursday, May 23, court appearance.

It was learned that Lord Lamba's attorney, who was also not present, had sent a representative, who informed the judge she didn't know why the comedian hadn't shown up.

According to a source: “Today was the court hearing and Queen was there but her baby daddy didn’t show up. His lawyer didn’t come; instead, he sent his assistant to represent him. Because he didn’t appear in court, his lawyer requested a new date, so it was adjourned to 18th of July for hearing.”

It was previously reported that Lord Lamba petitioned for child custody without notifying Queen Mercy Atang.

The case was allegedly heard twice without Queen Mercy Atang's awareness. Following an inquiry by her attorneys, Queen Mercy Atang was informed of the court date and that Lord Lamba had failed to appear.
