Shyngle Wigwe, the 90-year-old father of the former Group CEO of Access Holdings Plc, Dr. Herbert Wigwe, has filed a lawsuit against the late businessman's daughter, Tochi Wigwe, over his assets a year after his untimely death.
Reports from October 2024 state that the family of Pastor Shyngle Wigwe allegedly tried to alter Herbert Wigwe's will to deny the late banker's children their inheritance due to a hidden interest. However, the family has strongly denied these claims.
Subsequently, there was a disclaimer against the deceased banker's wishes, submitted on behalf of Pastor Shyngle Wigwe by Christian Chukwuka Wigwe, who claimed to be a relative.
The family, particularly Pastor Shyngle Wigwe, had to retract their previous denials after the estate was filed with the Probate Registry. In response, a family statement reads, "We have withdrawn the lawsuit. Our priority was the well-being of the children."
According to the latest reports, the court's ruling revealed that the family had been dishonest in discontinuing their legal action regarding the late banker's inheritance distribution.
Uche Wigwe, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, and 26-year-old Miss Otutochi Channel Wigwe, the late Herbert Wigwe's daughter, are now involved in this case.
