Actress Kate Henshaw has slammed all those criticizing Pastor Ituah Ighodalo for ministering at a church hours after the news of his wife's death broke out.
Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of Trinity House Church had mounted the pulpit of a church where he revealed how he felt on learning that his wife, Ibidun Ighodalo, had died.
He said “At 2 am this morning, I received a call that shattered my entire life.
"We do not have control over most things in life, how you were born, which womb you came from and your race.
“Life is a deep mystery no one even as wise as Solomon can tell you they understand life.
“There is going to come a time when we will see clearly as Jesus sees.”
In reaction, a certain Rebecca E. Roberts took to Twitter where she criticized him for finding time to minister at a church shortly after his wife's passing.
"I am being schooled on empathy and I totally understand everyone's alternative opinion on this, but, I still feel a type of way about that and would want my own husband to act differently if I suddenly passed away and I understand where everyone is coming from! Thank you", she tweeted.
This didn't sit well with Kate Henshaw who reacted saying:
"You cannot tell someone how they can mourn their loved ones. Leave Pastor Ituah alone. He keeps his word always and if anything he is a strong example of deep faith and courage in God! All you and your stereotype mourning that reeks to the Heavens!".
