Nigerian actress Jemima Osunde has talked candidly about a serious health issue that started when she consumed contaminated food while on set.

The actress detailed the event that led to her Helicobacter pylori infection three years prior in a post shared on her X page on Thursday, January 23.

The stomach is impacted by this type of bacteria. Jemima Osunde claimed that she has been battling gastroesophageal reflux disease ever since consuming the food that was given to her.

She wrote, “I’ve never regretted anything the way I regret taking that job and going with them to Ibadan to shoot under their care.

Got H. pylori from set food and the aftermath GERD has left me fighting for my life the last three years.”

Jemima Osunde revealed the severity of her illness, stating that it affects her day-to-day activities and that her entire digestive system has turned into her greatest obstacle.

She added, “The past month has really been something. sigh. My own stomach is my greatest op. Actually, my entire GIT.”
