Popular Nigerian artist Oluwajuwonlo Iledare widely known as Jaywon has come under fire for posting pictures of his visit to the late Sound Sultan's grave online.

The singer, who is well-known for the hit song "This Year," announced on social media lately that he had paid respects at the musician's gravesite who passed away in 2021.

Jaywon acknowledged the iconic musician as his mentor and expressed his respect for him in his messages, which featured multiple photos from the tomb.

Captioning the photos, he wrote, “At the resting place of a mentor, where wisdom, guidance, and inspiration now lay in eternal peace. Gone, but forever a part of us. Keep resting #soundsultan @soundsultan forever. Jay wana wana in your voice.”

Jaywon was, however, chastised by some internet users, for posting pictures of the graveside on his page. They stated that it was only for clouts.
