Former Big Brother Naija housemate Hermes Chibueze Iyele, mostly known as Hermes, has opened up about how he is faring following the loss of his mother.

Hermes, whose mother passed away recently, stated that he has been struggling with adjusting to the loss of his mother, as he centered his normalcy around her.

According to him, he finds it difficult to adjust to a new normal and is trying to find a new way around things after leaving the BBNaija show and experiencing the loss of his mother.

Speaking in an interview with Pulse Nigeria, Hermes said, “I haven’t been coping, to be honest. Every time people ask me about that, I just say that I’m as good as can be. What used to be my norm was centered around my mum and now it’s difficult to find that balance or what my norm is. I’m also trying to find new normals and I don’t think that would ever go away. I’m just learning to live with it.”

Hermes expressed gratitude for the opportunities that have come his way and acknowledged that life has not been without its challenges.
