Nigerian music duo, ItsENJ, has stated that doing music abroad as a Nigerian is not as challenging as it seems to be.
During an exclusive interview with MyNigeriaTV journalist, Barbara Esinam Bonney, they said that we are in a time where afrobeat has gained popularity globally, so it is easier to get support once your music is authentically African.
He stated: "The US is interesting because, right now, afrobeat is really reigning globally. So right now is the best time to push that culture.
"Anything that comes from Africa right now, as long as it's good, they will like it. It is quite easy actually.
"We get a lot of support from African diasporans in the US. We even get support from Black Americans, Hispanic people, and the Caucasian audience. So it varies."
