Nigerian singer Harrison Tare Okiri, better known as Harrysong has stated that he is not gay after a male fan expressed his admiration for him.

The musician posted a message he received from this fan on Instagram during a Q&A session.

The person freely identified as male in the letter and expressed his desire for the "Reggae Blue" singer.

In response, Harrysong made it clear that he does not desire men but that he does not harbour any prejudice against anyone who identifies as that sexual orientation.

He wrote, “I’m not gay, I’m very straight, but I don’t discriminate."

Social media users opined that Harrysong was not straight because if he was, he would have been angry at the man's remarks because every straight person would get furious and wouldn't mind discriminating.
