Famous rapper Nicki Minaj has expressed her love for Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid.

During a recent stream on StationHead, Nicki Minaj shared her admiration stating that she has “much love and respect” for the Nigerian singer.

She labelled Wizkid as “very chill and smart,” mentioning that she met him while recording her 2018 album ‘Queen’ in a studio in Queens, New York.

Minaj said, “He [Wizkid] is a very very cool chill guy. He’s really that guy, very smart. I have much love and respect for him.”

The rapper has always been vocal about her feelings towards Wizkid. In 2017, Minaj praised the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner for his performance during one of his tours.

A video of Wizkid’s performance caught Nicki Minaj’s attention, leading her to like it and comment with fire emojis in the comment section.

Although Wizkid and Nicki Minaj released a song together years ago called ‘Been Calling’, the artistes are yet to collaborate on another song.
