Lil Smart, the former signee of Marlian's Records, has reversed course in response to a number of accusations made against Naira Marley, the head of his previous record label.

It's worth noting that Lil Smart and Naira Marley got into a dispute where the former accused the latter of robbery, assault, kidnapping, and cyberbullying.

In the midst of the commotion, the Nigerian police recently verified allegations that Lil Smart had been arrested in connection with Naira Marley's plea.

According to a statement posted on the Nigerian Police's official Instagram account, Lil Smart was taken into custody at his home in Mejamogun Estate, Ajah, Lagos, last month, and pertinent evidence was found.

In a recent interview with Muyiwa Adejobi, the Nigerian Police Force's Public Relations Officer, Lil Smart responded to the accusations.

Lil Smart asserts that, in contrast to his prior assertions, Naira Marley never harassed, abducted, or took advantage of him financially.

He said, "Naira Marley never abducted me and he didn’t steal my $300 dollars.I thought his boys acted on his behalf."

His recent assertions stirred numerous reactions with many stating that he was only chasing clouts with the accusations against Naira Marley.
