Social media activist and critic Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan has stated that he does not hold veteran singer Michael Ugochukwu Stephen widely known as Ruggedman in high regard after the latter criticized him.
This remark came after the rapper made a statement about VeryDarkman and his advocacy.
Ruggedman revealed in a video released by VeryDarkMan that, in the early days of his activism with NAFDAC and his battle against unregistered brands, he used to look up to VeryDarkman.
Ruggedman cited the well-known Iyabo Ojo case as an example of how he lost respect for VeryDarkMan when he started looking into people's personal lives.
In response, Verydarkman defended his activities by stating that he only targets people after receiving complaints about their fraudulent acts.
He told a tale of how he exposed influencer Ashmusy, who had defrauded a guy of N1 million, forcing her to reimburse him.
Additionally, he declared that he no longer respected any Nigerian celebrities, citing Ruggedman as one of them who had allegedly lost faith in him.
VeryDarkMan said, “All these celebrities in Nigeria, I don’t rate you people. I don’t rate you guys."
According to VeryDarkMan, a lot of celebrities are scammers who deceive their followers online using Ponzi schemes.
In addition, he expressed his rage towards Ruggedman by bringing up the rapper's earlier attack in London, saying that Ruggedman ought to have been punished more severely.
