Activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has apologised to human rights lawyer Femi Falana, SAN, for the comments he made about him amid Bobrisky bribery allegations.

He issued the apology after appearing before the House of Representatives Joint Committee on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions on Monday, September 30, 2024.

In the leaked audio released by VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky claimed to have spoken to rapper Falz, who allegedly requested a payment of N10 million to seek pardon for him and remove his name from the records.

The activist, expressed his reluctance to believe that Falana was involved in the bribery allegations made against him by crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.

Following his comments, Femi Falana’s children, Folakemi Falana and Falz, called him out for his allegations and demanded a retraction and apology for defaming their father, a renowned human rights lawyer.

In response to the backlash, VeryDarkMan has issued an apology, He said, “Apparently now, some people are taking advantage of what is going on to target Femi Falana.

Here, I apologise. It’s so sad that his name was inside that audio. I couldn’t believe it as well; that is the part that irritated me more, which I said I refuse to believe that he is a party to something like that.”
