Singer Peter Okoye has called for the end of the clash between Hausas and Yorubas in Shasha market Ibadan, Oyo state.
The father of two took to his Twitter page to react to the clash as he called for the unity of everyone, regardless of their tribes.
Talking about his affiliations with the tribe major tribes in the country, Peter stated that he is an Igbo man who married a Yoruba man.
He revealed that he grew up in the north and started his music career in the north also, noting that he speaks the Hausa language fluently.
Peter then called for the end of tribalism, racism, and ethnic wars. According to him, it has to stop.
