A viral video featuring Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke praying for Ovation TV CEO and media mogul Dele Momodu and his stunning wife has sparked reactions on social media.
In the video, the governor was seen praying for Dele Momodu and his spouse as they stood before him.
Governor Adeleke touched the couple's heads while acting like a clergyman and urged them to accept whatever he would say.
He said: “I bless you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, receive it.”
Since then, the video has gone viral online, with many people applauding him for his sense of humour despite his political status.
A video of Governor Adeleke ignoring the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi went viral online in November 2023, causing a stir on social media.
In the video, the Ooni was greeting Governor Adeleke at an occasion when he extended his hand, to which the governor turned him down.
Many people were embarrassed for the monarch after seeing the footage. However, some people supported Adeleke's actions by pointing out that the King wasn't supposed to shake hands with anyone.
Responding to the video, the Osun State Government debunked rumours of the governor snubbing the monarch stating that “agents of the opposition” had manipulated the video.
