Nollywood actresses Funke Akindele and Wunmi Toriola have been reported as the highest grossing lead actresses of 2024.

Film distribution company FilmOne revealed the top ten actresses in a post shared on its Instagram page on Monday, January 27, 2025.

Funke Akindele took the top spot for her film “Everybody Loves Jenifa,” while Wunmi Toriola came in second with her film ‘Queen Lateefah”.

Toyin Abraham was the third highest grossing lead actress for her movie, “Alakada Bad and Boujee”.

Tomike Adeoye claimed the fourth position for the movie “Ajosepo”, and Eniola Ajao secured the fifth spot with her film “Beast of Two Worlds: Ajakaju”.

Kehinde Bankole was named the sixth highest grossing lead actress for the movie “Funmilayo Ransome Kuti," and Adunni Ade clinched the seventh spot for “Lakatabu”.

Uche Nwaefuna was ranked eighth for her roles in movies, "Thinline," “Silent Intruder” and “The Betrayed”.

Regina Daniel was the ninth highest grossing lead actress, and Gbugbemi Ejeye rounded out the top ten with “Farmer’s Bride”.
