Everyone dressed to the nines for the first showing of one of the season's most anticipated films, making the premiere a glitzy and glamorous affair.
Seeing the musical performers Dbanj and Lagbaja, who also appeared in the film, at the event was one of the night's highlights.
One of the Nigerian veteran musicians who has been largely forgotten is Lagbaja, whose true name is Bisade Ologunde. At the after-party, he began the concert by showing off his melodic voice to the audience.
Funke Akindele and her on-screen partner Falz, the night's biggest stars, took to the dance floor. They became quite near to one another as they swayed back and forth while holding hands. Fans questioned whether they were in a romantic relationship as soon as the videos became viral on social media.
