Find something else to augment your income – Bayo Onanuga to Nigerian youths

Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga has advised Nigerians, especially the youth, to engage in other menial jobs to support their main income stream.

He stated that people cannot survive in the present economy with a single line of income.

Speaking in an interview on Channels Television, Onanuga explained that it is necessary to find another source of income, citing an example such as a farmland where a person can cultivate the land and plant crops. He stated that by doing so, the expenses of individuals will reduce.

“Find something else to augment your income. You cannot live on one income. One line of income cannot satisfy them. You need to find another source. If you have a farmland near you, cultivate it, grow your crops so that it can reduce your expenses. These are some practical things you can do to survive the present economy,” the presidential adviser said.

His statement generated reactions on social media. While some accused the government of destroying the economy with little to no measure in place to resolve the country’s situation.
