Pashotah, the wife of content creator Kuye Oghenevwede Adegoke, popularly known as Egungun of Lagos, has raised an alarm over a threat to her husband.

In a public outcry, Pashotah claimed that someone is trying to blackmail her husband with a private video unless financial demands are met.

She lamented that the blackmailer got hold of a video intended for her as a personal message between herself and her husband.

In defense of her husband, Pashotah emphasized his faithfulness throughout their relationship and her trust in him despite any spiteful attempt to tarnish their reputation.

She said, “My husband has never cheated on me before (vice versa). This relationship is built on trust, understanding, loyalty, and commitment.
"This will not break my marriage because we are built on a foundation stronger than scandals."

Egungun’s wife shared screenshots of the blackmailer’s messages alongside her posts: "You can choose to ignore, but once he starts trending, you will be ashamed of yourself."

In the video, Egungun was seen talking to a lady in a video call when he flashed his private part.

However, there are mixed reactions over the leaked tape.

Many expressed concerns over the decision of Egungun's wife coming out to defend her husband while he remains silent.

A lady has also revealed how she met with Egungun at her hostel as he promised to introduce her to artiste, Zlatan.

She warned Pashotah to stay quiet about her husband's fidelity or else there would be more hidden revelations.
