Mr Eazi has agreed to promote videos for upcoming musicians through his platform, Empawa Africa, even though it must pass the following guidelines.
The "Nobody" crooner said the video has to pass internal quality control. He also added that the artiste can either subscribe to a 1time fee or % split.
"In return, the video gets Empawa Exclusive status including marketing across its platforms plus submission to all its TV partners," Eazi said.
The artiste also promised to continue funding non-Empawa artists visuals. Explaining what that meant for clarity purposes, Eazi said the label will pay for select music videos and recoup from an 80/20 - 70/30 split in their favour depending on artist tiering and video Budget!!!
"The beautiful thing is that from June 1st we are launching a bespoke tech-driven platform that lets all artists we invest in see where their rev is being made, how it is coming, how recoup is done and most importantly local payment receipt," Eazi explains.
