Former presidential spokesperson, Reno Omokri has cautioned men against taking up their girlfriend's financial responsibilities.

According to him, they are not the lady's father hence such burden should not be theirs to carry.

The human rights activist and lawyer is known for sharing his thoughts on relationships on social media.

He noted that men should not be pressured into financing the woman they are romancing.

He shared this on his Twitter page;

“Dear men, When a woman you date tells you she needs money, listen calmly without interrupting, then respond thus, ‘I am sorry, but it seems you mistake me for your father’. Don’t be pressured into financing a woman you are romancing. It is nice. It is not wise”.
