'Do not become a public figure if you don’t have money'

Reactions have trailed a comment by former Big Brother Naija housemate, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David who was known in the reality show as Doyin.

The reality star in a tweet on Monday, May 8 advised people without money or a good support system not to become a public figure.

According to her, it costs a lot of money to thrive as a celebrity in the Nigerian entertainment space, hence people without funds should reconsider getting into the space.

She tweeted: “I’ll tell you this much….the public figure lifestyle is damn expensive! Long story short….do not get into this space if you don’t have money or a solid support system. You need money to make money”
