Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has expressed excitement as Belgium's government legalizes health insurance for sex workers.
According to reports, Belgium signed legislation on Sunday, December 1, 2024, that safeguards sex workers' rights.
The benefit packages that people with regular work enjoy, such as health insurance, maternity leave, sick days, and pensions, were also approved by Belgium.
After the declaration, the government of Belgium becomes the first in the world to allow health insurance for sex workers.
Reacting to the news on his X handle, Davido retweeted the information, saying it was innovative.
