Popular content creator Muhammed Gilmore believes that Nigerian content creators are more supportive of each other than musicians.
Gilmore believes that this support has contributed to the massive success of Nigerian content creators.
The skit maker emphasized the role of social media in their success, noting that people now watch content on their phones more than on television.
In an interview with Hip TV, Gilmore said, “Content creators enjoy massive success because it [the content-creating industry] is more supportive than the music industry.
“This is 2024; everybody is on their phone. People no longer watch TV. You can make money off social media.”
Gilmore also mentioned that afrobeats singer Ayra Starr is his ideal woman and reminisced about his childhood crush on Niniola.
