Nigerian controversial cross-dresser Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, predominantly known as Bobrisky, has finally been released from the Kirikiri Correctional Center in Lagos.
The social media personality was reported to be released on Monday, August 5, 2024.
In a now-viral video clip on social media, the crossdresser was spotted inside a black luxury car leaving the prison premises in the company of her friends.
Recall that Idris Okuneye, Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in prison on April 12 by Abimbola Awogboro, the Lagos high court judge, for abusing the naira.
Awogboro, in her verdict, also ruled that the sentence was without the option of a fine. The judge held that the jail term commenced on March 24, the day of her arrest.
