Singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has reportedly reconciled with his father, Fatai Odunsi.

This comes after his father took to social media to accuse the singer of abandoning him since his health began to deteriorate in 2022.

As a result, Asake received several backlashes and criticisms over his alleged neglect of his father, who is said to be suffering from a stroke.

In a new development, Asake promised to buy him a house and cover his medical expenses.

In a video shared on Sunday, March 16, 2025, his father confirmed that Asake has now reached out to him.

Speaking in Yoruba, Odunsi said, “His mother ought to ask him when last he saw me.

“That was what got me angry, but we have sorted all the problems. We are no longer fighting.”

He mentioned that “Asake said he will do everything that I want. We have settled, no more problems.

“They are now looking for a new house that he will buy for me. He has settled everything.”

Mr Odunsi also stated that Asake has agreed to take full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.

“He has never denied his child, but he has now promised to take full responsibility for the child.”
